Dear Member:
On Saturday, March 15th and Sunday, March 16th, Freedom Quilts is inviting all 9/11 families, including those who were injured, to come and pick out a quilt of their choice made by a volunteer quilter in memory of our loved ones lost on September 11. Betty Nielsen, the founder of Freedom Quilts, came up with this wonderful idea for a project to help show love and support the families of the September 11 tragedy. Betty and her husband Dennis are driving from Iowa and bringing hundreds of handmade quilts with them. These quilts are beautiful, and she has handpicked many of them to bring especially for DC area families.
Here is the information for the Freedom Quilts!
