9-11 Traumatic Grief Survey: Last Chance to Participate

Families of September 11 wishes to remind everyone about the 9-11 Traumatic Grief Survey. The first year of the study is fast coming to a close. The last day to complete the survey is February 5, 2005.

The study is sponsored by Families of September 11 in conjunction with the New York State Psychiatric Institute, Columbia University, the National Center for Post Traumatic Stress Disorders, and the VA New England Healthcare System. To all of those who have completed the survey we say a grateful thank you! Your contribution to the understanding of trauma and loss is very much appreciated.

If you have started the survey but have not completed it, now is the time to do so. You can log onto http://www.9-11survey.org, use your password, and pick up where you left off. If you need assistance, please contact Scott Noonan at snoonan@bostonwebdesign.com.

Most importantly if you know of anyone who lost a family member, friend, or colleague on 9/11 who has not completed the survey, please ask them to log on and complete the survey.

Any questions about any aspect of the Traumatic Grief Survey can be directed to Dr. Yuval Neria at ny126@columbia.edu, Gretchen Seirmarco at seirmar@pi.cpmc.columbia.edu, or Helena Rosenfeld at 212-543-6747.
